Located 15 km off the Angus Coast in Scotland, currently in late stage development, will have up to 72 turbines. Once complete, it will be one of Scotland’s largest single sources of renewable energy and power up to 1 million homes with clean electricity. Fineplan provided lead planning resource to udnertake all the project planning activities preparing the project to enter AR3 UK CfD Auction.
Developing and maintaining overall project programme from early concept through to execution and it to align with agreed project strategies.
Chairing regular planning review meetings/workshops to identify and address key issues.
Integrating schedules of all tier1 contractors, consultants and advisors for the whole project into the project’s master schedule.
Ensuring that all project and corporate planning deliverables are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Monitoring actual and forecast progress against the agreed programmes, and preparing reports as required for the Project Director/Manager.
Ensuring any contractors’ programmes are aligned with the project programmes.
Actively seeking to apply lessons learnt from planning developments across other projects and the industry.
Identifying any areas of concern and raising it to the relevant stakeholders.
